I've been having a lot of fun making paper cutout snowflakes. Originally I started doing them so I can scan them and add them as layers so some of my illustration( such as this or this) but then it became very addictive :) and I noticed that snowflakes can look pretty on their own (not just as addition to illustration):

And they are also very useful as photo props , I used them on a couple of my 365 photos on flickr yesterday:

so lovely and frosty, the heart shaped one is fabulous too.
vidim da se lijepo zabavljaš.
Precious precious!! Dear Asja, your photos are so beautiful! The Chilean version of these pictures should be with little rays of sunshine, because here we are starting the summer (and hate the heat, I love the rain), so I find that your photos are simply magical. Hugs!
thank you Amy!
Damire-da , uvijek :)
Sandra- thank you!
Unfortunately, we still don't have that beautiful, snowy Winter, yet.
I totally understand you, I don't like heat either.
Very chic! Both, the snow flakes and the person holding them!
so beautiful and creative!
I love the heart photo. And hearts usually don;t do it for me - This is one of those pieces where something new is made out of a very tired symbol. Terrific work.
thank you everyone!
The paper art if fabulous...what wonderful shapes!!!
Whimsical and beautiful. Great photos!
FANTASTIC Asja. These snowflakes are lovely - so creative and original!! And the photos are beautiful too - love the shot with the heart "flake"! : )
