The joy of making snowflakes (paper cutouts)

winter for blog
I've been having a lot of fun making paper cutout snowflakes. Originally I started doing them so I can scan them and add them as layers so some of my illustration( such as this or this) but then it became very addictive :) and I noticed that snowflakes can look pretty on their own (not just as addition to illustration):

Winter

And they are also very useful as photo props , I used them on a couple of my 365 photos on flickr yesterday:

Precious precious!! Dear Asja, your photos are so beautiful! The Chilean version of these pictures should be with little rays of sunshine, because here we are starting the summer (and hate the heat, I love the rain), so I find that your photos are simply magical. Hugs!

Sandra- thank you!
Unfortunately, we still don't have that beautiful, snowy Winter, yet.
I totally understand you, I don't like heat either.

Very chic! Both, the snow flakes and the person holding them!

I love the heart photo. And hearts usually don;t do it for me - This is one of those pieces where something new is made out of a very tired symbol. Terrific work.
