I had a lot of fun drawing this little erupting volcano last night. I stayed up until wee hours in the morning sketching and coloring it.

Too many bottles and one cracked vase

too many bottles
cracked

I like drawing simple shapes, like bottles and cups, it always relaxes me.
To me, drawing patterns and repetitive shapes is , in a way , a process similar to knitting or crocheting, it can be very relaxing but it also requires focus, planning and is a mental as well as physical activity. And in both activities you need to be constantly focused on the details while keeping the final creation in mind and I find that process mentally engaging yet relaxing at the same time.
Having said that, I actually don't knit or crochet but I do love sketching same shapes and patterns over and over again :-)

Robots like flowers

Well, at least this one does:
robots like flowers

I started drawing this totally spontaneously. First I made some swirls and then realized I need shapes to contrast them and make the whole thing more interesting so I drew this simple robot. A robot who enjoys flowers :)

A lighthouse, sea and some fish

Here are a couple of maritime doodles I did recently, inspired by Summer and sea. Or, better said inspired by thinking of nice, warm Summer days as opposed to stormy, humid and gray weather we've been having, here, in Croatia over the past week or so.
